6 Promote a positive image of people with an intellectual disability in Ireland.

	Tell people in Ireland about intellectual disability. Tell people about the abilities of people with an intellectual disability and how they can make a difference.

	Give training to hospital staff, Gardai, teachers and other groups about how to communicate with people with an intellectual disability.

	Work closely with the media, so that intellectual disability gets more attention.
