The death of Donal Toolan

Inclusion Ireland was very sad to learn of the death of our friend Donal Toolan who died yestarday (April 24th 2017)

Donal was a writer, actor, journalist and activist with a life-long commitment to equality and human rights. 

Inclusion Ireland was very fortunate to work alongside Donal on a number of issues and campaigns and we are very grateful for all the support he gave us throughout the years.

Donal will be remembered for his kindness, intellect, humour and wit. 

Donal will repose at St. Matthew’s Church, Irishtown, on Tuesday April 25th from 5.30pm until 8pm before he returns to his home town of Ballyhaunis Co. Mayo.

Donal will repose at Donnellan’s Funeral Home, Clare Street, Ballyhaunis, on Wednesday evening (26th April) from 5pm with removal at 7pm to Logboy Church. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by burial in Ballyhaunis Cemetery.
