The National Standards for Residential Services for Children and Adults with Disabilities were launched by the Health Information and Quality Authority in May 2013.

They will apply to residential and residential respite services across disability sectors in Ireland, whether they are run by public, private or voluntary bodies or organisations.

Inclusion Ireland press statement: Inclusion Ireland welcomes the launch of standards for disability services.
