Did you know there are only 12 Changing Places in Ireland?
Inclusion Ireland is part of the Changing Places Campaign for fully accessible toilets. We need more so people with disabilities can access their communities like everyone else.

GENERAL ELECTION 2020 CHANGING PLACES IRELAND MANIFESTO
Changing Places toilet facilities are urgently needed in every county in Ireland.
There are currently 12 registered Changing Places, eight in Dublin and four others located in Limerick, Tullamore, Wexford and Athboy. Co. Meath.
Changing Places are different from standard disabled toilets, extra space and facilities like a hoist and a changing bench are provided. Without Changing Places many parents have to change a family member on public toilet floors. Many disabled people don't go out because they will not find a toilet with the right equipment.
Equipment to install Changing Places costs approximately 15k.
We want the Department of Housing. Planning & Local Government to grant aid local authorities and voluntary organisations to install Changing Places in every county. An estimate of this cost is €855,000.
We want Part M of the Building Regulations changed to make it mandatory for new public
buildings lo be universally designed', thereby incorporating Changing Places facilities.
