Inclusion Ireland is saddened to hear about the death of our former President, John O'Gorman.
John was CEO of the Sisters of Charity of Jesus & Mary Services at Moore Abbey until he retired in 1998 and was involved in learning disability groups on the international scene for many years and was President of Inclusion Ireland (then NAMHI) from 1990-1991. John was on the Inclusion Europe Council and was Secretary General of Inclusion International.
John was a champion of the 'Adams' fund, which was set up in honour of Col Joe Adams, this fund was set up to support people with disabilities in post-communist Eastern Europe.
