There are many parent and family disability support groups that are doing good work in Ireland - but connecting with others to share concerns, keep informed and have your voice heard can prove challenging. The Connect Family Network aims to enable a coherent and combined family voice to be heard by service providers and policy makers.
On the Inclusion Ireland website, we have a section for families, the Connect Family Network, and an information map. The map lists local organisations that support people with intellectual disability and their families.
The information helps individuals and families connect with family support and disability support groups around the country.

We are currently updating the information map.
If you represent a family support group and would like your group contact details on the map please, you can do this in a number of ways:
You can fill out this online form
You can complete the attached CFN Map Update Form, below, with the current group contact details and information and return it by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
by post to
Mary Lee, Information and Support Officer, Inclusion Ireland, 12 Henry Street, Tullamore, Co. Offaly
To update or confirm details by phone contact 086 8373456.
Please only include contact details that your group are happy to have included on the Connect Family Network Webpage.
Many groups provide a link to the group website, Facebook page or other social media or a group email address e.g. info@... as a means of contacting the group rather than an individual’s contact name, or number or email address.
Please consider providing some extra information about your organisation or group in the paragraph at the bottom of the update sheet. You can outline why the group was set up, what the group does or where and when the group meets.
We look forward to hearing from you.
