Twice a year a Members Meeting is held, where Inclusion Ireland updates members on recent activities.

In addition to an update on Inclusion Ireland activities, Patricia Rickard Clarke, full-time Commissioner at the Law Reform Commission, spoke at the Members Meeting in November 2011.

Patricia spoke on the work the Law Reform Commission has been involved with, which affects people with an intellectual disability and their families, including:

• a consultation paper on vulnerable adults which dealt with capacity law;
• and a recent consultation on consent and capacity regarding sexual offences, which was recently published;
