| ART & POETRY COMPETITIONS: Inclusion Ireland ran art and poetry competitions for adults with an intellectual disability, as part of our 50th Anniversary Celebrations. SELF-ADVOCATES FORUM ON INCLUSION: Inclusion Ireland held a Self-Advocates Forum on Inclusion where 14 Self-Advocates spoke on the topic of 'What Inclusion Means to Me' at the Forum. CLICK HERE for more information. |

COMMITTEE:
A voluntary committee was formed to advise on events to mark Inclusion Ireland's 50th Anniversary. The committee were a fantastic support and provided excellent guidance and advice during the year.
The committee, which includes Inclusion Ireland Chairperson Frieda Finlay and CEO Deirdre Carroll, comprised of:
- RTÉ broadcaster Miriam O'Callaghan;
- Solicitor Dr. Gerald Kean;
- Accounting professional Tom O'Higgins;
- Branding expert Pat Kinsley;
- Communications Advisor Caroline Erskine;
- Marketing professional Carolyn Odgers;
- Self-Advocate Stephen MacDermott;
- Maria Mulcahy of the Iris O'Brien Foundation;
COMMEMORATIVE CALENDAR:
A calendar wall chart to celebrate Inclusion Ireland's 50th Anniversary is available. The calendar features cartoons by Johnny Connaughton, which formed part of the "Little Book of Disability". The cartoons captured the essence of the 2005 "My Voice My Choice" Self-Advocacy Conference.
